Jeffrey McDaniel is the author of 3 books of poetry Alibi School, The
Forgiveness Parade, and most recently The Splinter Factory. He has performed
at venues throughout the United States and internationally in Germany,
Argentina, England, France, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Russia. He
is one of the very few poets associated with the spoken word movement
to have his work appear widely in literary journals and anthologies, including
Best American Poetry, New (American) Poets, and The Outlaw Bible of American
Poetry. A recent recipient of a creative writing fellowship from the National
Endowment of the Arts, he is a professor at Sarah Lawrence College and
lives in Brooklyn.
